Like some others at Highland, our family has been busy filling out college applications. Our daughter Jordan has one year left at Bartlett High. Thus we’ve been busy preparing for that next step of college. The Story of My Life: Created but Cracked (Gen. 1-3)

Recently I was in the Philippines with some victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Haiyan hit landfall in the Philippines at 190 mph. 5,200 people were killed. Half a million homes were destroyed. 4.3 million people were displaced, including 1 million children.

I had the opportunity to visit with families who had lost their homes either partially or fully. Nathan Luther, our missionary in the Philippines, was with me.
