Friends invited us to the lake for Labor Day. One of the families had young twin girls and young twin boys. I walked with one of the twin girls, Sara Grace, around a small island on the lake, Goat Island. As we walked on rocks near the water’s edge, Sara Grace said, “Isn’t this the best day of your life!”
When we got back to the boat, I told Sara Grace’s Mom. She said, “Sara Grace says that about every day. For her, every day is the best day of her life.” Mom said Sara Grace said that same thing one day when a family member took them to McDonald’s. (Mom also said “That attitude makes Christmas a breeze!)
What an attitude! Can you imagine believing that every day was the best day of your life? Is it possible? Sara Grace makes me hope so.
