I pray, God, for our leaders.
May they be your representatives before they are mine.
May they be people of truth not lies, no matter what that truth is.
May they be characterized by humility not pride, even if it takes the spotlight off them.
May their mission be to right all that’s wrong and to not be satisfied with anything less.
May you drive enemies away from them.
May you draw encouragers near them.
And may you raise up others to take their baton when it’s time.
