No one keeps their word Lord.
I’ve searched the world for just one who does what he says, for just one who means what she says.
But there are none.
Instead I hear lips that say one thing but mean another.
I hear lips that make and then break promises.
But you keep your word Lord.
You say what you mean and mean what you say.
You make but never break promises.
Because of this, I place my trust in you.
